Any new event or when can we upgrade our heroes star??

I would like to know got any new event? When can they release a patch for us to upgrade our heroes star? Any new equipment or story? It's been sometime now. If not the game going to lose its charm. Thank you

There were some new things introduced at the end of 2015 - like a whole new chapter (chapter 3) and Elite mode for Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Also there were some new items - the orange items and a new orange set - the yellow turban set.
From time to time there are events to get lower prices for golden chests and other items.
From my point of view there is a lot of content to cover and the game is not dead.
Of course a dev reply is welcomend.
